This chapter is about engaging teachers and students in learning and self-reflection. From this chapter, I learnt to use digital portfolios. I never heard about portfolios before I took this class. The purpose of creating a digital portfolio is to connect teaching skills and competencies to specific professional teaching standards as a way to show that new teacher candidates are qualified to receive a license. Standards can be a helpful way to organize portfolio material, but teachers may view them as a checklist of requirements to accomplish instead of an opportunity to record their competencies and reflect on their growth as an educator.
June let us to create a digital portfolio give me a new way to help me with my career. After I learnt about digital portfolio, I knew a new way to show others who am I as a teacher, and I can also read other teachers digital portfolio to see the difference between us, and what I can do to improve myself.

Chapter 10 Reflection
This chapter is talking about how the Assistance Technology (AT) can help a lot of children to make their dreams come true. I never think about how those disabled students live and learn before I read this chapter, and I never think about how they can live as a normal person before I read this chapter. The AT make they can live as a normal person. There are something that we think is easy to do are not as easy as disabled students. They may have to spend twice or even more time to practice to do the same thing as a normal person. There are some students who can not walking, writing, speaking....AT help them to do those things by themselves. Therefore, AT is really important in teaching those disabled students.
I think it is necessary to teach disabled students to use AT as early as possible. The early they get use to AT, the fast they can learn as regular students. As future teachers, if we have students need to use AT to help their study, we need more patience to those students. They need more confidence, they need more help and they need more love. All the students may become future physicists or future scientists. The disabled students maybe disabled physically, however, they have healthy brain as all the other students. Maybe they can create more AT to help more people because no one can understand those pain like themselves.

Chapter 9 Reflection
This chapter is about using multimedia technologies in classroom. When we talk about multimedia technologies, the first sight coming to the mind may be the widely used PowerPoint, which is a kind of software tool for presenting information in a dynamic slide show format. Nowadays, teachers starting from primary schools to top universities are willing to use it since it is intuitional and comfortable for showing their demos and conferring knowledge to the students with ease. In particular, texts, charts, graphs and even sound effects and video could naturally be just some of the elements PowerPoint can incorporate into their presentations with a number of simple steps. In contrast with conventional teaching methods, teachers have some opportunities to only focus on delivering their knowledge with putting some time on writing on the blackboard. Periodic utilization and convenient share between teachers and students is another advantage over the traditional method. WebQuests is also a good way for teaching and learning, which is rooted from the deployment of internet and information technology. Teachers can preselect the sources and emphasize the information use rather than information gathering and students are encouraged to learn as an active group and explored to critical thinking and analysis via WebQuests. With the concentration on the education increasingly being turned to differentiated instruction, at present teachers are using WebQuests more frequently and help to present the different learning styles for each student. In practice, advanced new multimedia technologies provide and support a variety of channels to confer and absorb knowledge for teachers and students.

Chapter 8 Reflection
This chapter is about how to use networking with Website, Blogs, Wikis and more. This chapter shows me a lot of ways that we future teachers can use in our teaching. Nowadays, more and more students enjoy go online. They like to explore the news online, and they like to communicate with their friends with social networks eventhrough they can see each other everyday. Therefore, using networks is important to teachers. It is really important for teachers to commicate with students, and to know the real them. Some students might be shy in the class. However, they can express their mind on the network. In this way, teachers can understand what students are thinking about which is really helpful of finding the suitable ways to teach.
Using networks can also help students to explore new knowledge and communicate with each other. Like June let us creat our own bolgs, we can read what others are thinking about. Others thoughts could inspired ourselfves in our future teaching. Wiki is also a good way to make students involve in the study. Wiki information would update all the time. Students could try to edit information on Wiki, or teachers could make them try to change something on Wiki. Even students' ideas may not be use, it is still a good way to make students think that they can really involove to the study and the website.

Chapter 7 Games
I think game is a really good way to help students learning if we teachers use the games in the right way. I think the game Free Rice can help students with remembering vocabulary. The second game could let students enjoy play it, at the same time, it could also provide students opportunities to think how to play better in this game.
I believe that games can help students to learn if teachers use the games in the right way. Different games can fit different level of students. The game that scrabble can help students to improve their vocabulary. The battle ship game can help students with their logical. Game can also make teachers close to students. It is good to motivate some students who like to play games start to pay more attention on study.

Chapter 7 Reflection
This chapter is about using soft-wares to help teachers' teaching and assessment. I think software can help teachers a lot in teaching. In my class, every time that we have a new topic, I was looking for some apps in Apple store to help our teaching. This week we teach students about apples. I found an apps named "baby 123". It is an apps that can help students counting with apples. This is a very useful apps. I also found some apps about Halloween to match our next week's topic.
Software can also help teachers to assessment. Some software can help teachers analyze students' text results. Teachers just need to type students text score into computer, computer can get the answer by itself which I think will save teacher a lot of time.
Question:
1. How can we make sure the accuracy of software?

Chapter 6 Reflection
This chapter shows us websites that we can use for our future teaching career. Learning how to use different website helps us with communicate with other teachers from different places. It can also helps us inspire the idea of teaching.
I logged in one website on the text book: www.diigo.com. I found some teachers are sharing their rubrics on the website which is very helpful for new teacher like me. We can share our resources and ideas on diigo.com.
I also find a very good website: http://teachers.net/

We can find lesson plans on this website, it shows us different grades which is very convenient for us to find out what are we looking for. We can also communicate with other teachers on this website. At the mean time, we can share the information of teachers.net with Facebook or Twitter to share with more people.
Questions:
1. If everyone in the classroom has a computer, how do teachers involve all the students attention?
